I recently became a Chalk Couture designer. Since joining the Socialite Suite, I have learned the proper way to run a direct sales business through relationship marketing. I knew I wanted to join under someone else who is running their business in the same way. So, I began asking questions in the Elite Suite, a premium offering by Sassy Suite, the parent company of The Socialite Suite. I sought answers about how other socialite’s chose their sponsor. Then, I asked leaders about how they run their business and help their team. Finally, I came up with a list of questions to ask when interviewing your potential sponsor.
Interviewing your Chalk Couture sponsor
Having tried may different direct sales companies, I’ve been through this process a few times. Someone from the company I chose recently commented on one of my posts, so I decided to ask her some questions. It inadvertently turned into a more formal interview. I caught her a little off guard but she rolled with it. She answered my questions to my satisfaction and I’m very excited about the new opportunity.
Here is a list of some of the questions I asked:
Why should I join your team?
How many are on your team?
Who is your sponsor and the top sponsor of the entire team?
How do you feel they have been as leaders?
How do you communicate with your team?
Do you offer one-on-one support?
Where do you live?
What Socialite Suite values are you implementing in your business?
How do you personally get sales and team members?
What questions do you have for me?
Final thoughts
I hope these interview questions have been helpful for you. For additional reading on owning your own Chalk Couture business, check out this post. Please feel free to ask me any further questions you might have regarding starting your own Chalk Couture business, or any other direct sales business. I’ve tried many, so I’m happy to help.
